Catch up without spoiling the household
A shared living room and a private up-next list can coexist. Mark your episode. Do not turn the tracker into a feed that shouts the ending.
GetTVTime has no social graph on purpose. Household progress is a shelf, not a story. Keep titles visible and plot out of the room.
Names are fine, numbers are safer
“We are on S3E4” tells a partner where to sit down. A recap paragraph in a shared note is how someone reads a death on the commute.
Export stays a CSV, not a recap blog.
Do not scrobble the TV
Automatic Plex or app scrobbles will mark an episode the kid started and you did not finish. Checkmarks you tap are slower and true.
Frequently asked questions
Can two people have two lists?
Yes. That is why there is no public activity feed. Compare on the couch, not in a notification.
What about group chats?
The tracker will not save you from a group chat. Mute the chat until you catch up.
