Episode runtime versus credits padding
A 22-minute comedy is not 30 because the stream padded credits. Your watch tick is the episode, not the platform’s container. Do not let runtime shame you.
Mark the episode when you finished the story. nextepisode is a progress tool, not a timesheet for the streaming app’s clock.
Skip credits is still watched
If you skipped the Netflix outro, you still saw the episode. The tracker does not need the last 90 seconds of logo.
Double episodes on one file
Some discs glue two numbers together. Tick both only if you actually watched both. A 42-minute file is not automatically two episodes.
Frequently asked questions
Should runtime drive ‘up next’?
No. Air date and your shelf should. Runtime is trivia.
What about specials listed as 90 minutes?
Treat them as specials. Do not let them look like three missing episodes in a season bar.
