Marking a finale when a reunion special airs
A reunion is not season 9. If you tick it as the next episode, your ‘finished’ shelf lies and your up-next queue grows a ghost.
Keep the finale as the season end. Log the reunion as a special. nextepisode should not auto-advance a show you already closed because a talk special landed.
Specials have their own shelf
If you care, watch it and tick the special. If you do not, leave it. Either way the season stays complete.
Reboots are new shows
A 2026 revival with the same name needs its own ID. Do not append it as extra episodes of 2009.
Frequently asked questions
What about a clip-show episode inside the season?
If it has a season number, it is an episode. Tick it or skip it on purpose.
Did TV Time dump reunions into the season?
Often. Clean that on import if you still can.
