Return dates versus what is on tonight
A return date is a future episode that does not exist yet. Tonight’s queue is the first unwatched episode that does. Mixing them makes a tracker feel broken.
Separate unaired seasons from episodes you can sit down and play. GetTVTime treats those as different states on purpose.
Park the gap year
A show between seasons belongs on a waiting shelf with its return date. It is not “next” until an episode exists.
Tonight is unfinished work
Unfinished series you already chose beat a recommendation engine guessing taste. Start there.
