TV Time comments you cannot bring over
Episode comments, badges, and the social feed did not survive the shutdown. Your ticks can. Do not delay a rebuild waiting for the jokes.
nextepisode is a tracker, not a replica of TV Time’s room. Export what the GDPR dump actually contained. Write new notes if you need them. The old thread is gone.
History beats memorabilia
A CSV of watched episodes will get you to the next hour of TV. A missing comment about a character death will not. Rebuild the ticks first.
Do not scrape a dead app
If the official export did not include comments, they are gone. A fan scrape of a shutdown service is a waste of a weekend and often against the old terms.
Frequently asked questions
What about badges and streaks?
Treat them as gone. A new tracker can have its own quiet stats. It should not fake TV Time’s trophy case.
Can I paste notes from screenshots?
Yes, into your own list. That is a diary, not an import format.
